The Community Filament Standard is an evolving standard that we hope lowers any hurdles and therefore encourages acceptance of what we see as bonding agents that tie together disparate and separated pockets within any given urban area. The neighbor pockets we like to call a village (or Mohawk term a kana:takon).
This is the base wiki site whose purpose is to foster the standard, improve it and evangelize the movement it represents.
The collaborative proposal evolved through discussions that are described in a recent book: Monkey Sense Book.
