The Instructors’ Guide that is useful when using the book in young adult classrooms can be provided up receipt of an emailed request. It can be printed as a small pamphlet. The PDF uses double side printing, short edge binding. On HP printers choose layout setting 2 pages per sheet as portrait images on a standard letter stock. An elongated staple gun binds the pamphlet. The non-booklet version can also be downloaded here:

Prior to participating in any scheduled virtual book tour meetings the author has anticipated some questions that readers may pose. What follows is a FAQ-like list of questions that may foster discussions about this book.

Alexa speculated about becoming a TV quiz show host. One show presents answers and expects contestants to ask the question. For example given the answer: “A regular solid having twenty faces that Plato identified as representing a ‘water element'”. So, reader, “What is _____?” Another answer: “A common Latin phrase that High School Geometry students use after writing a theorem proof, abbreviated as Q.E.D.” “What is ____?” (hint both questions can be ‘found’ in the author’s book: Leaps Through My Life.

Alexa promised Art to sing a special camp song but, alas, time ran out. Perhaps this uTube tune will do:

Shaddap You Face camp tune.

The Kana:takon Poster (with Rick Santorum quote) is available for download and printing here: http://collogistics.gunnerysergeant.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/NorthAmerica2.jpg

The Plato wind element octahedron regular solid is available for download and printing here: http://collogistics.gunnerysergeant.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Octahedron.jpg

During coding discussions the teachers’ guide mentions notions such as a procedure taking ‘input’ and then outputs a result. The code that handles the handicap ramp calculator is included here for discussions.

Students intimated by cryptic coding logic may find the alternative mentioned in the book interesting. ProGraph has a draw your logic approach. Wiki discusses this paradigm here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prograph.

EDUCATORS! This book fits no known mold. If you have reviewed the synopsis you will have observed the myriad openings for student generated discussions. The class room settings could range from small credit partial semester courses (1/2 credit, 1/4 term). How the material is presented depends on level (late middle, high school, even community colleges). The teachers guide is just a start. If you meet with success please provide feedback or, better still, let other educators know how and why it worked for you! We include a very simple single page tri-fold brochure here for you to download and print (color, landscape, short edge binding). Pass it along to your colleagues and friends. Thank you.

Access via the Internet provided various data pointers such as the scientific names of the seven (so-far) identified senses. Wikipedia is a great tool to scout out information such as the facts about Asmara and the Akwesasne First Nation peoples. Regarding media sources two titles were songs written by my late brother Norm, the wide range of monkey illustrations were obtained, for a fee, from www.123rf.com. Using graphic tools such as photoshop the drawings were suitably altered, in editorial fashion, to fit into the story line. If requested a specific identifier can be emailed to the submitter (mention page and image).

The chart on page 49 lists scientific-sounding names for the first six senses. At question, one might ask, is the weird sense seven. The teachers’ guide seems to prefer Ms. Bile’s name as more descriptive: ‘spacial awareness’. Further research, as far as the author can tell, suggests the proper name is likely: proprioception.

Prior to participating in any scheduled virtual book tour meetings the author has anticipated some questions that readers may pose. What follows is a FAQ-like list of questions that may foster discussions about this book.

Part I represents a memoir that spans the author’s life. Part II has more introspective parts and introduces the notion that problems can be addressed and solved by means of the “it takes a village” concept. The concept gets expanded by an example in the subsequent book titled Monkey Sense Book. Part III introduces a framework for the so-called ‘blook’ book series.

Nonprofits are fully aware that prospective donors often decide to contribute based on emotions.  Emotional responses are more easily swayed by marketing gimmicks than rational responses are.

This book educates prospective donors by introducing an interesting metric to evaluate nonprofits.  It implies that the educated donor can have confidence that his or her donation can go further provided that some easy steps are taken.

If you are a prospective donor and you ever walked over a dropped penny (not bothering to pick it up), then your actions speak louder than your impulses.  An impulse, for example, might be that a $3.00 book costs more than a $2.99 one does.  But that’s not what your actions dictate!

The easy steps that prospective donors are made aware of can be summarized: nonprofits can be fairly evaluated by their actions. This is not necessarily what they say they do.  Instead it is what they actually do.

Besides educating donors, such as pointing out attitude biases, convincing them that donating isn’t really optional – the book is a suggested read for anyone working in the nonprofit sector.  Board members, directors, CEOs and the like are advised to read and understand the critical observations that are made concerning that sector and the “fund raising efficiency” of some organizations therein.
